Install Piezas Claude Plugin for Desktop

The Piezas plugin lets you build a business app by describing it in Claude. It interviews you in plain language, shows you a preview to approve, and builds the app on Piezas, with checks that keep your data and keys where they belong. This guide shows how to install it in the Claude desktop app.

We have submitted the plugin to both Claude and ChatGPT/Codex marketplace and it is currently under review.

Before you start

• The Claude desktop app, signed in to your Claude account.
• Node.js (LTS) on your computer. The plugin's checks run with it. If it's missing, Claude tells you how to install it before building anything.
• A Piezas account. You'll sign in during setup.

Step 1: Add the Piezas marketplace

In the Claude desktop app, open Plugins, choose Add marketplace, choose Add from a repository , and enter:

Step 2: Install Piezas

Piezas now appears in your plugin list. click "Add" to Install it.

Unlike Codex, Claude has no separate step to turn on the plugin's checks. They run as soon as the plugin is installed.

Step 3: Start your app

Start a new chat in an empty folder and say:

Set up this folder for a new Piezas app

Claude asks whether you're starting fresh or already have an app, then begins.

Step 4: Sign in to Piezas

Claude posts a Sign in to Piezas link in the chat, with a short code.

1. Open the link.
2. Check that the code on the page matches the one in the chat.
3. Click Approve.

Claude continues by itself once you've approved.

If something doesn't work

• The link expired. Ask Claude: "Sign me in to Piezas again", and use the new link.
• Claude says Node.js is missing. Install the LTS version from nodejs.org, restart the Claude app, and start a new chat.
• Piezas doesn't appear after adding the marketplace. Check the address is exactly Piezas-ai/plugin, then close and reopen the Plugins screen.
• A change was stopped. That's a Piezas check working. Claude explains why in one sentence and does it the Piezas way instead. Nothing you need to do.

Coming soon

Piezas is under review for Anthropic's plugin directory. Once listed, you'll be able to install it straight from the plugin list, without adding the marketplace.
